65 split - inner MelbourneThis kombi was for sale a few weeks ago on eBay; I inspected it on behalf of someone from interstate (he decided not to buy it ). It is an ex-Tassie bus, and was in good condition - I liked it a lot (maybe one day, one day...) I have no idea whether it stayed in Melbourne or went interstate.

I am not sure!!! (he did seem concerned about the hinges, tho'). If I'd had the cash (and had been checking it out for myself) then I would definitely have bid on it.
I chatted to the (now former) owner - her ex-partner got to keep their samba, she got the house and the 65... but she didn't want the house, she wanted the samba!

65 splitThe samba is in Perth somewhere and is the unrestored one on the WA kombi list. Turkis and white. Here is his new bus and here is her old one.

Very noice Samba too (I believe I've seen that somewhere else...)... mmm, what else is that on the trailer...?
Thanks for that! (I assume you must be Greg... Rachel mentioned you in passing - all good! )

65 splitYes I am Greg, I found the bus for her and was a good honest bus as stated. The prev owner started neglecting it (although she loved it) and stopped maintenance. Hope it has gone to a good home. volma1
