Brookie

1915 Overland & 1926 Chev Capital 4 Truck.

Took a trip another 100ks further inland today to pick up alternator for our Fuego- original in seemingly A1 condition.

Guy served his time on Renaults-and loves Fuegos- has an 85 driver in mid restore-paint shop next. 82 Fuego GTX -still deciding what to do and partially stripped Turbo brought in from Jersey complete with rust. This is supplying parts for number of projects as it had Gordini engine.

Also in one of his sheds was a partially restored 1926 Chevy Capital 4 truck with immaculate chassis and lower body work that covers chassis rail painted. Beautiful timber ready for tray etc. A few metres from it is a 1915 (dated chassis) but believed not built to late 1916 early 1917 Overland.
These were part of Willys and Willy Knight group. Not together but 99% of parts.
It took 10 years for him to locate genuine ignition switch for Chev.

Asked him had he seen any Kombis around the district and he said only one was one "down the road" which is a Double Cab- He is not sure if Bay or Split. Kept in shed/garage- No way to get a look but I asked if he could check sometime.

Couple of pics of his Fuego
