12th July Festival of Motoring York

This event attracts many vintage, classic and collectable cars to York including some of the Briggs family personal collection.

If this is of interest we may have Kombi Konnection also involved which could
be assisting with parade of cars from the York Motor Museum.

There is also York Markets on same day and  York Arts and Craft Market on Sunday the 13th so could be a good weekend.

Please post your thoughts.

Shannons are also involved in this event.

Due to unfortunate closure of Fremantle Motor Museum this event has been postponed. With vehicles being brought to York and others being  sold it was too difficult to re-organise.
Peter Harbin,  Manager/Curator  of York Motor Museum appreciated the interest by KK and hopes that in future we will be able to have a KK event in York.
I think he wants to relate driving a Splittie from Teheran to Bombay via the Khyber pass to as many Kombi and VW owners as possible. Very Happy

I don't think much has been sold yet-lots have been moved to York and other storage.
