This new forum has been created as a post from Kimba had 65 views in less than 6 hours.
While I prefer original Kombis the interest in these conversions is great and many Kombis are being converted with one near completion in W.A.
Kombis are ideal because their transmission driveline is strong and can take large increases in torque and their is plenty of room for batteries.

Contacts have been made with people involved in e-Kombi projects and we hope to have pics soon.

If anyone wants to help out with this project in any way or is interested in converting a kombi also and wanting to get a working group happening please contact Liam or I.
Liam has met a few of you in real life at VW events but has just joined the forum today, his username is BEAN.

I kind of like komba... it's a little symbolic of how much kombis are taking over my life!!
