This is interesting article and covers most types of vehicle.
Rear engined vehicles use sway bars much like a race car-as well as assisting roll centre the rear bars assists in controlling front end and front bar the rear end.
That is a very interesting article, though I am not sure if I should upgrade the front sway bar, or put one on the back...

With family bus I would even keep tyres to 185/195 range.
If you have opportunity try and swap wheels with someone with 205+ and try over same route with varied surfaces-bitumen, gravel, sand etc, wet and dry.
If you have a lot of wet/damp road driving 185 is tops.
