Hi Folks

Can someone give me a quick run down on hoe the reverse lights engage on my 75 bay?,Manual..........yes I checked the globes first Exclamation

Is there something on the gear box,that engages lights?

If it isn't the globe, then it is likely to be the grounding.  Stick your head in the engine bay, and there should be two brown wires coming from the back of each taillight (they may have grey covers) - remove the connectors from the body, clean (or replace) the connectors, and then reattach.

ok,Ill try that,but what makes them come on,is there some sort of switch somewhere? Embarassed

The switch is usually at front near shift lever-can't find pic at moment
When you locate switch you can bypass it to see if switch is problem

Can I fit a reversing switch to a '71 Low light.
I have the oblong shaped reversing lights to fit.
Any clues where to buy from?
