This Lowlight has definitely passed its "useby" date.
Managed to get heater/air control knobs and may be able to rescue bed/seat hinges for Gulliver.
Transmission going into VW powered bush buggy
It would take a very game man ( person ) to under take resto on that old girl mate.
I have seen bigger jobs undertaken with grate results though.
So maybe not out of the question.

Hi Brookie,
Are you dismantling and stripping or leaving it alone?
Is there anything worthwhile for parts?
KKombii
Owner is undecided what to do-he intends to use transmission and rear suspension in bush buggy. I will probably get bed/seat hinges -still waiting for decision on what he wants to do with rest.
Anything you are after? _________________ Kombis Keep you Younger
The owner is still going to pull out rear & front end but may be able to be convinced to sell or swap for mechanical bits to suit buggies.
The rear/bed seat combo he delivered yesterday is a genuine Wetsfalia SO67 conversion with metal plate-1969 manufacture.
This model was in Westys from late splitties to early bays.
It is possible from my research this is genuine Westy.
