Hi all,
Great site, been lurking for a while now and thought to introduce myself, im Martin and on my 3rd VW.
My first was a wedge, 1986, 1600cc watercooled kamper conversion done by autohomes in the uk, that little thing went everywhere, round europe twice with me as the owner!!, all over the uk, and was my daily drive, unfortunately i had to let her go when my wife and I emigrated here to W.A.,..gutted.,
I then decided to by a polo for the wife to run around in, great little car, but as the family is growing we needed something bigger.
so onto the newest oldest car ive ever bought.
to cut a long story short, i picked up a 75 bay, 1800cc, microbus, for around $400,engine running, with rego,.
now i just need to know where to start!!!
Hi Mate - plenty of ex pats here in Perth driving Vee dubs around. The whole community in Perth is fantastic. See the members in business section for parts/suppliers. Perhaps if time allows, get yourself along to Alfreds on the first Wednesday of each month see events section fro details. Don't be shy come along and introduce yourself to us all....
