Hi to everyone on here.
Been a Kombi fanatic for about 39 years!
Last Kombi I had was a 76 Bay window. (in a moment of madness I sold it).
I have regretted that decision for many years.
I thought I could do without one. (bad mistake).
So I am currently on the look out for a "bay window" camper.
Would also love a splitty "panel" but figure I have more chance of winning tattslotto.
I am very fortunate to live close to (75 klm) the best VW mechanic in Victoria (in my opinion) Trevor Witham in Pyalong.
Anyhow, that's enough from me at the moment.
I am hunting around for our camper (my wife and I love camping)
hopefully I shall have one soon and be able to post pics of it.
Cheers for now.

Thanks Brian.
The address is as follows;
Volksplace
16-18 High St.
Pyalong Vic.
(03) 57851223
Trevor Witham is the Captain of the Pyalong C.F.A.
A hell of a nice bloke.
Most importantly, a "very good" V.W. Mechanic.

First of all, I have to say "what a wonderful forum/web site this is"!
I am totally blown away by the content.
Am I wrong, it would appear the majority of members are W.A. based?
Where did "Kombi Konnection" originate from?
Re the "wave". It has always been very strong over here in Victoria.
Have never had a fellow Kombi owner "not wave" I'm not talking about a "discreet wave" like the Queen does.
I'm talking about a "full on" very pleased to see you wave!
Being a "lone wolf" previously, I thought I was alone in this "addiction".
It is very pleasing to realise there are heaps of you out there.
The day I joined this forum was the "best day of my life".
Many thanks to all who have made this possible.

Thanks for your kind comments- although there is a very large WA membership we have members in all States and overseas.
The "net" brings many together as do most forums.
The forum was designed originally to be a source of info for and from members and links to other websites on "how to" etc etc.
It is still growing steadily
