THE KOMBI KONNECTION

I went to Dwellingup on Saturday night to see Little Miss Sunshine.

I didn't make a special journey, I was in the area for the weekend.

There were 5 Kombis there, all parked out the front.

Two spitties and 3 lowlights.

The movie is very funny, with a repeated scene straight from the lives of many Kombi owners. I cracked up every time.

Don't get me wrong. I'm no prude. I can curse with the best of them but I think the movie was spoiled by unecessary swearing, which makes it not quite suitable for young children.

Nonetheless it is very well made, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained and who wants to laugh a lot. All Kombi owners should see it.

There was a good turnout and I hope this movie venture is successful for the promoter.

I won the door prize of a wicker basket full of Easter eggs, which I distributed among the assembled company as I'm trying to lose some weight and that would have torpedoed my efforts as I'm a chockaholic.

All in all it was a good night out.

Thanks Richard it was great to have you in Dwellingup, I agree the movie was a bit spoilt by unnecessary swearing, however I was pretty impressed with the fabulous turnout of kombis though. I've had lots of comments about how cool it was to see them here in Dwellingup. Glad you enjoyed the evening, thanks for coming. Barry & Di
