THE KOMBI KONNECTION

I've seen an ad for a 75 bay in the quokka, it has no pop top (HURRAH!!) but what it does have is a yellow sticker... Confused

I was hoping someone with more of a clue than me (which isn't hard) could have a look at it with me and talk me through what I should be looking for. Given that we already have a kombi I'm not so fussed about driving it around in a hurry. I'm more interested in the body. The guy who is selling is a mechanic who bought it off the fella who got the yellow. He said the engine and gear box is in good condition. The reason for the yellow sticker is the windscreen, but now it has one I want to know what else would need to be done before it would be in a condition to pass the pits. He's asking $1900. It's in Beaconsfield.
I'm going to have a look at it tomorrow. My girl is going in for a service tomorrow so I'll be on my bike. Anyone feel like looking at a kombi with me?
If I'm interested in a second look I'll be dragging my partner along on the weekend.
