After registering our 64 Notch in the U.k from spending all its life in Adelaide, i wanted to remove all of the red dust, that was sitting within the rear arches, preferably with out physically removing the rear arches.

Once i had removed the rear lights i saw signs of spiders....

From all the stories of Australian spiders i was very grateful that my arm would not fit in the whole where the rear light went, where as my girl friend has little arms..... Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

oh my GOD!!! which spider did that????

i work on 100's of cars some of them are totally infested with spiders!
once i had a car on a hoist (about 3 months ago) i turned round and a big redback was at face height, i screamed, the other guys came running over, it was huge! so not wanting to harm it i put it in a large coffee jar, as i walked from under the car into the light it JUMPED out of the jar and onto my bare arm!! i screamed again the others all ran off, i shook it off and it scurried into the metal work of the hoist! i'm guessing its still there, i now know why the other guys spray well with CRC, i now use the coffee jar with a lid!!

that pic has me REALLY worried now, thank bj, you're a mate!!!
