South of Cowell near Port Gibbon on the beach front. No facilities but free.

Mambry Creek (Mt Remarkable NP)

Off the highway between Adelaide and Port Pirie. Excellent facilities. Fee applies.

This campsite has no facilities and is a dry river bed between Port Augusta and Quorn.

Waikerie

Almost in the town of Waikerie. We were told about the campsites by someone at the supermarket. On the Murray River. Free and has quite a few campsites.

Mannum

Located just across the river from the centre of town. It has toilets and is free. Could be very busy in holiday season.

Aroona

In the Northern section of the the Flinders Ranges near the old Aroona Homestaed. Has toilet facilities and fees apply. Plenty of walks etc. Plenty of campsites when I visited.

Wilpena

Caravan park has all facilities including powered and unpowered sites. As a tourist destination there is penty to do. Many walks etc. to keep you fit. Live entertainment etc at night.
