My wife and I just got home from the first campout of the year in Lake Havasu City Az, Buses By the Bridge and we had a great time. Weather was comfortable with temps in the 70's, had about 250 buses in attendance, raffled off 2 rebuilt transaxles and a 1600sp, and raised about $12K for local charities. Here are a few pics from our 1200 mile round trip. Roadcow got a replacement transaxle the day before the event.
We traveled with a fast 1776cc powered splitty, this speed is uphill.
A cool Dormy parked next to us.

Thanks for pics Britt-really great and varied models of Kombis- also noticed a few of our four legged friends which seems to be standard for many Kombi owners.
Nice bit of money made for local charity as well.
