A camper conversion from the late 1950's was done by a company called A.B.Wilkinson. This is the conversion in my 58 Camper ,the Paddle Pop.
The package was sold as an official VW accessory and I have seen the same conversion on a T2 in SA. I have attached some photos of the sales brochure covering the conversion. I dont have any further information on A.B.Wilkinson at the moment but am doing further research.
I think they stopped production in the early 1960's
Bill

Sounds great, interesting layout... very intriguing, good luck with finding out more about this "caravanette"! Smile

(I wonder where you fit the horses? Smile)
