Some Pictures of my DC appear in 'Kombi Talk' but I thought I would add to the collection here.
History:
I bought the DC in February this year as it si now. All the work had been done and I have the pleasure to drive it. I don't know who did the work on it, if anyone does drop me a line as I would like to know who did the paint and upholstery. The guy I bought it from didn't do the restore either and had owned it for approx 12 months. Needed to get a 4 wheel drive or something.

It has a few faults, a leak here, chips here and there but all in all it is in terrific condition. Starts first time , sits on 100ks without a problem and I drive it everyday to work.. Still get a few looks from people along the way.

I need to fix up the tray area as it is a little bashed and bruised but it is a work vehicle.. Works out great for carting junk to the tip, saves hitching up the trailer. White tarp/cover is a bit of a bitch to keep clean as my place is a construction dustbowl at the moment but a spray and scrub brings it up clean as a whistle.

Gets a bit warm in the cab during peak hour and I really need to do something about the back windows (solids). Sliders or maybe even Safaris would get the air moving.

This is one great vehicle and one hope will be on the road for many years to come.

Bear

Nice looking Dc there. I remember about 20 years ago some friends of ours had an orange dc, they had 3 kids and used to go every where in it, camping the lot. It was there only car. I often thought why would you have one of these, but now since owning a kombi, i understand why.  Laughing
